Our school counselors will be implementing the monthly BCPS school counseling curriculum lessons. A TalkingPoints pre and post letter will be sent to all grades each month to keep everyone updated and informed. Below are the monthly topics:

May: Mindfulness (5th Grade focuses on Transition to Middle School)
Monthly Virtues
Jacksonville Elementary implements a school-wide Virtues Program. Each month has a corresponding virtue and students can receive certificates and rewards for demonstrating it. There are also weekly announcements and a bulletin board each month reinforcing the virtue.
The virtues are as follows:
